Greenovation is a unique program at RISC that blends the principles of sustainable development with the spirit of entrepreneurship. The program is designed to foster creativity, innovation, and civic responsibility in our students, while also equipping them with valuable skills that will serve them well in the future.
The program is structured around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are a set of 17 goals adopted by the United Nations to promote sustainable development around the world. Each month, we focus on a specific SDG, and students are encouraged to come up with innovative ideas and projects that address the challenges and opportunities associated with that goal.
Through this program, students develop a deep understanding of the SDGs, as well as the skills and knowledge required to become successful entrepreneurs. They learn how to identify problems and opportunities, develop creative solutions, and implement their ideas through the creation of business plans and projects.
The Greenovation program is designed to be highly interactive and engaging. Students work in teams to develop their ideas, and receive guidance and support from teachers and mentors throughout the process. They also have the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of judges, who evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of their ideas.
