The 35th anniversary recognition ceremony for alumni and stakeholders of RISC and MIUC was a resounding success, highlighting the tremendous achievements of over 15,000 alumni who have excelled in diverse industries, segments, and careers globally, while also serving their home country, Pakistan. The event was attended by a diverse group of 500+ alumni from all four provinces, with messages of congratulations and appreciation from alumni across 5 continents being aired throughout the evening.
The event was truly an evening to cherish, as over $50 million in scholarships were awarded to deserving students, and the achievements and attainments of over 15,000 alumni were celebrated in the presence of key stakeholders and office bearers of the Government of Pakistan, including the Federal Minister of Education, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Ms. Rahat Konain, chairperson Competition Commission Pakistan, Assad Hameed Khan & Team ACCA Pakistan, Haaris Mehmood Chaudhary, CEO Universal Service Fund, Mr. Waqar Shah, Deputy General Manager Pearson, Mr. Ahmad Hassan Shah, Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Saqib Rafique, President RCCI, Maj. A deeply engaging & vibrant discussion on the challenges faced against changing trends in education in the developing world i.e. impact of tech, disruption, sustainable goals, skills adaptation, employability, academia-industry linkages & AI in Education was another highlight of the occasion.
A group of highly successful and talented alumni also indulged in an intellectually refined panel discussion with the subject encompassing success stories, modern day education requirements and how quality education plays a determining factor for young professionals in all fields.The alumni also thanked their institute for its unflinching support through their journey from education to professional career.
Open Days
An exhibition of the STEM Projects made by the students of Roots International Schools & Colleges Wellington Campus was organized in the school on 24th September 2022.
STEM exhibition gave students the opportunity to showcase student science projects and artwork.The exhibition was open for all parents, they visited and appreciated the projects made by the students.Other skills attained through STEM activities were problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, decision making, leadership, entrepreneurship, acceptance of failure and more.

Daniya Malik, a bright student of RISC got featured on a German TV channel ARD on the last day of year 2022. She is one of the students learning German language at Roots International. She was the only student from Southasia to be featured in the video.
RISC has the distinction of being a PASCH affiliate institute with a robust German language department, training dozens of students each session to become functional speakers of the desired language.

RISC students attended the Experiential Paris Winter Course organized by L’Adresse Paris Agency. They spent eight days in Paris, France and spent time engaging with the Parisian fashion industry.
They learnt a great deal about trend forecasting, communication, craftsmanship, fashion film & photography and retail. The course also aimed at guiding students with choosing the best career path in the international fashion industry.
